About

This group of mathematics center leaders and mathematics education researchers meets biweekly online and annually at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education (RUME) conference.

Our aim is to support the leaders of mathematics learning centers and to utilize research to improve mathematics learning centers at a wide variety of universities in the United States of America and around the world.

History

This group was formed in 2017 at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Conference (RUME). We held two workshops at Oklahoma State University, which were funded by the National Science Foundation (# 2645086). Many of us gather each year at the RUME conference and we continue to meet online biweekly.

Our Mission

  • To support leaders of university mathematics learning centers by sharing resources and networking

  • To conduct research in the context of mathematics learning centers and discuss current relevant literature
